Full Throttle Motorsport – Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers, Danny van Uum – the toxicity at the fullest

24/01/2023• Posted by

This is my story of joining 4H of Kyalami event by Full Throttle Motorsport in simracing title Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), and of enjoyment meeting fellow Danny van Uum, Abe Santema, and Rob Ebbers.

The longer I live, the more proof from the surrounding world I get that you shouldn’t touch a poo even with a 10-meter stick. This time the simracing event gave me one more piece of evidence for the wisdom mentioned in the previous sentence.

In preparation for the 6HR Challenge Esports Series, organized by Racing Club International in Assetto Corsa Competizione, with an entry fee of 150 euros per team, with one of my teammates I decided to participate in the 4H of Kyalami race organized by an unknown host – Full Throttle Motorsport. The only reason that lies behind this decision is the fact, that prequalifying for Esports Series, as well as the very first round, is at Kyalami.

The race

We had low expectations from the event. It was supposed to be a multi-class but due to none signed up for GT4 and in GT3 were only 24 teams and only 19 showed up on the grid. We started the race from P3, got smashed in T1, and suddenly, we had to cope with 15 seconds of damage at the very first stint and the latest place at the circuit. Before the end of the first stint, we managed to climb up from P19 to P5 and we were slowly closing the gap with the leaders.

At the last stint, we were at the lead. The aggressively driving driver of Porsche – Abe Santema – who was very eager to take huge risks, had contact with me twice. Even that, I managed to cross the line very first place, claiming the victory in the 4H of Kyalami by Full Throttle Motorsport.

What happened next was… more than unexpected. From the beginning to the end. The whole story exposed the worst of humankind’s behaviors, overwhelmed with hate and hostile attitude.

Even the wisest meteorologists didn’t expect that 2023 will start with a huge shitstorm powered by Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers, Danny van Uum, and a cocky gentleman hiding behind the name The Coon (and for sure it is not an Eric Cartman).

The shitstorm powered by Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers and Danny van Uum

After the unpleasant conversation [LINK to full conversation], I decided to quit the toxic Discord server of Full Throttle Motorsport. Soon, the “demons of the past” intrude into my sad and miserable life of so-called polish prodnisch (whatever it means), driving only an old Hyundai as the proof of being… poorish being. I discovered that I am blind, a Hamilton fan, fcking dumb, and an idiot. Before they feed my self-esteem with those kind words, I thought much worse of myself!

How come the demons settle in my life once again? Well, I came across the post on subreddit Simracing Stewards, regarding the incident from 4H of Kyalami organized by Full Throttle Motorsport, that I participated.

Introduction to the terminology

Actually, there were only 2 reported incidents. In both, I was the offender. One occurred in dry conditions, and the second one in wet conditions. For the first one, I got penalized for only 5 seconds, for the second one I received whole 10 seconds of penalty. Rob Ebbers – Admin, Moderator, and Staff Team at Full Throttle Motorsport who was probably responsible for this verdict – with Danny van Uum convinced quite effectively the dearest Abe Santema in the thinking that the “wet 10s incident” was, quote, “100000%”, my fault.

Abe Santema – killed by his own weapon

Abe Santema – abe#1052 at the Discord – decided to create a post named “Is this my fault? i feel like what I did was an agressive move but I also feel like the Honda turned into me? imo i was side by side going into the corner.[LINK to copy of the original post and all comments] where he posted a video with the incident “dry 5s incident”. Unfortunately, the vast majority of the community of 46k people didn’t agree with Full Throttle Motorsports stewards (including Rob Ebbers) and very explicitly claimed it was Abe Santema’s fault, not that stupid idiot, Lucjan Próchnica.

Though, I was wise enough to throw the Full Throttle Motorsport nightmare into the abyss of oblivion, coming across mentioned post gave me the motivation to create my own topic [LINK to copy of the original post and all comments] tagged Assetto Corsa, regarding the second incident. So this is exactly what I did. Meanwhile, Abe Santema – the one from the circle of adoration consisting of himself, Rob Ebbers, and Danny van Uum – deleted his own topic. Probably because he didn’t find the adoration he was looking for, though it is only my assumption. While reading this, keep in mind that I am just a stupid idiot and blind retard. Funnily, there was no one who would see only my fault in “10s incident” neither. Most of the people who participated in the discussion claimed it was a racing incident with both drivers partly at fault or the Porsche driver.

The return of outcast

As a polite person, willing to bring a piece of great news everywhere I put my nose in, I decided to join the Discord server of Full Throttle Motorsport and show them a meme [LINK to meme] I made, as well as the links to two discussions at subreddit Simracing Stewards. The most worldwide wise committee (Rob Ebbers, Danny van Uum, arrogant hiding behind the name of The Coon, as well as beloved Abe Santema) made me aware that I manipulated the content while making my topic. You can read the whole Discord conversation here: [LINK] that occurred after the outcast returned.

Manipulated… How so? Well, being a stupid idiot, it is hard to find an answer to this simple question. Though, I am capable of seeing the facts. The first fact is that Abe Santema in the original topic he made, presented the video behind his own car. Meanwhile – the second fact – I presented the video with the view behind Honda and Porsche, inside both cars and from above. Plus, I provided my own analysis that nobody was forced to refer to, or read… My main goal was to share an understanding of the situation and alternatively change my point of view in case, somebody could shed new light on the matter.

I learned so much about myself…

What new things did I learn about myself after I returned to Full Throttle Motorsport Discord? Here are a few things:

  • That the car can steer right (even the image was supposed to show what the nose of the car is pointing at),
  • that my butt hurts (I suppose I am driving at the Mount Panorama circuit too often),
  • that I could appeal the penalty (why make an effort if they can’t conduct normal discussion and have a hostile approach),
  • that I am driving a shitbox car,
  • that I am a Forza racer,
  • that I switched from the hate against the pork to thinking it was a racing incident (???? WHAT?),
  • that it is easy to make it look like someone else is at fault
  • that you can’t use somebody’s name without permission. All I did, was mention concrete names, that’s all. They are exposing names at public events (in Assetto Corsa Competizione – ACC, simracing.gp, simgrid), public lobbies, and public Discord that anyone can have an access to with a link.

In the Reddit topic, I didn’t express my negative opinions regarding mentioned Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers, or Danny van Uum. The only thing I did, was present the simple and undeniable facts. I attempted to do it in a balanced and respectful way. If you said something, you said something. If someone quotes you, you can take a voice once again and say that you changed your mind and you regret what you did or what you said. Or, provide your point of view if somebody put the situation involving you in the wrong context. I attached the whole Discord conversation to let everyone form their own opinions.

I am happy that they have had a lot of fun pointing fingers at me and laughing at my involvement in judging the incident that occurred in the one-off event without any awards (like they didn’t xD). Simracing still is a niche and for anyone who has little better earnings, it won’t calculate while taking into consideration each “work hour”. I pay taxes so big that I used to dream of having an equivalent salary some years ago. And I really do not care whether there are rewards or not for simracing events. I spent my time clicking on the keyboard just to read insulting messages and finding statements that are far away from constructive.

There is only one thing, that I am aware of, I missed when creating the original topic. I didn’t read carefully Code of Conduct [LINK] with crystal clear rules regarding the burden of penalty. 10-15 seconds are given in case of “takeout and gaining the position”. Funnily, none of the cars in the “wet 10s incident” were taken out, nor any of them gained or lost a position.

You changed your opinion, hah, you fool!

Rob Ebbers stated that I switched from the hate against the pork to thinking it was a racing incident. In my opinion, Porsche is the one responsible for the incident, as he was behind and had enough space, plus it is his responsibility to conduct the maneuver in a safe manner. Though, having in mind that none of the cars involved in the incident were damaged or none of them spun, the racing incident verdict seems to be a fine compromise. If I were steward, this is exactly the reasoning behind the decision which I would make.

Lucjan, why…? Why are you doing this to us?

Why I made this post? Everyone deserves access to information regarding the product or service or platform. I consider Full Throttle Motorsport as simracing platform or organizer hosting simracing events. They deserve my attention and promotion. They worked on it hard, though seeing how all of them were emotional about the situation, it hurt them already more than me. Kinda satisfying. Being tilted only expose the weakness.

Even if one person will find out this post on Google, while looking for words Full Throttle Motorsport, Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers, or Danny van Uum, and read the whole story, will rationalize the effort. Plus, I like writing. So, around 45 minutes of my time is what I am willing to afford.

I am providing various links, materials, and screenshots, so everyone can form their own opinion. What I value about myself – apart from being a stupid idiot – is being fully transparent. I always try to act in a way of not regretting in the future. And usually, I do not get close to the poo but this time the poo was disguised as Full Throttle Motorsport brand, Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers, and Danny van Uum. I wish I knew how Eric Cartman’s wannabe is named, he deserves the attention, too.

Materials

Materials in chronological order:

Others:

For me, it is hard to believe that among 173 members of the Full Throttle Motorsport Discord server, there was none who could see the wrong-doing of mentioned Abe Santema, Rob Ebbers, or Danny van Uum. Or… maybe there was some but didn’t want to take a voice.

You can find me and fellow friends of mine on Discord:

Is Full Throttle Motorsport trustworthy?

My role ends here. I just provided materials, hopefully in a respectful and proper manner. It is up to you to make your own judgment about the Assetto Corsa Competizione organization that lies behind the mentioned name – Full Throttle Motorsport.

Are Danny van Uum, Abe Santema, and Rob Ebbers trustworthy?

The same. I would pay special attention to the level of conversation they bring in, once they take a voice in the discussion. And to logic and all the statements, whether those fit the whole.

The meme – self-disgrace by Abe Santema and Rob Ebbers

Incidents

In the case of the “wet 10s incident” stewards argue the decision in the following manner: car 500 clearly runs wide leaving the inside wide open for car 14 this allows car 14 to catch up and claim the inside car 500 takes a wierd angle into the turn and hits car 14 (10 seconds penalty for car 500)

In the case of the “dry 5s incident” stewards argue the decision in the following manner: car 500 clearly moves to the left earlier then the normal racing line dictates (5 seconds penalty for car 500)

LFM – Full Throttle Motorsport – describes themselves as…

Community in which all drivers are respectful toward others and race cleanly. After coming back to their Discord as the so-called outback, I pointed out they do not stick to their own rules regarding respectfulness and prohibiting the use of inappropriate language. Guess what? I got banned quite quickly!
